Talam(Treatment for Stress)

Thalam is an Ayurvedic therapy in which the individual’s head is covered with herbal paste and medicated Ayurvedic oil is poured onto the forehead in a steady stream. It is an effective therapeutic treatment for nervous system and mental disorders. Thalam, which means “head,” is an ayurvedic practise. It is intensely focused on the patient’s head region. Thalam is especially important in the context of modern ailments such as stress, anxiety, and insomnia caused by a fast-paced lifestyle.

Thalam has been shown to be effective against gastrointestinal issues caused by heat in the body, in addition to its mental health benefits. Thalam is performed by first preparing an ayurvedic herb paste. An ayurvedic practitioner carefully selects the herbs. This is determined by a number of criteria, and the herbs chosen are usually tailored to the needs of each patient. After the herbs have been chosen and blended, they are combined with the necessary oils to form a paste. This paste is then applied to the middle of the head. This is a nerve ending point that, when stimulated, can help heal the entire body. After allowing the paste to sit for a few minutes, the head is massaged with oil.
